Banana Ice Cream Recipe

- milk
- Ripe bananas
- Light brown sugar
- White sugar
- Kosher salt
- Heavy cream
- Vanilla extract
- Vanilla chips
- Stable whipped cream
Stable whipped cream is very easy to make and very useful! You only need half the recipe yield, so you can make half the batch, or make the full batch and then make the lower half into a dollop on ice cream or cake.

Mix the milk, banana, brown sugar, white sugar, salt and vanilla in a blender. Mud until smooth. Add heavy cream and pulse a few times to combine.
Pour the mixture into the ice cream manufacturer and process according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Make a stable whipped cream when the ice cream is stirred. Break or roughly chop vanilla chips.


When the ice cream is stirred, put about one-third of the ice cream oop into a freezing safe container. Top with a ball of whipped cream and gently rotate it with a butter knife or end of a spoon. Sprinkle with vanilla chips. Repeat twice. Freeze until ready to serve.
