Quick stove apple pie filling! This easy recipe replaces 1 can of apple pie filling, which is much better than store-bought filling!

  • Peel, core and chop or slice the apple*.

  • Melt the butter and cinnamon over medium heat. Add apples, sugar and water.

  • Cover and cook for 4-6 minutes, or stir well until very soft.

  • In a side dish, combine corn starch and 2 tablespoons of water. Add to the pan while stirring, continue cooking until the apples are tender (not paste) and fill with thick.

  • Let the air bubbles for 1 minute. Cool.

Cut the apples into 1/2-inch cubes or 1/4-inch slices.
