Apple Pie Filled Recipe
Quick stove apple pie filling! This easy recipe replaces 1 can of apple pie filling, which is much better than store-bought filling!

Melt the butter and cinnamon over medium heat. Add apples, sugar and water.

Cover and cook for 4-6 minutes, or stir well until very soft.

In a side dish, combine corn starch and 2 tablespoons of water. Add to the pan while stirring, continue cooking until the apples are tender (not paste) and fill with thick.

Let the air bubbles for 1 minute. Cool.
Different apples may require less (or more) cooking time. Cook until tender and check the apples with a fork.
Some apples are more important than others. If you want to fill with thicker filling, mix 1 tablespoon of corn starch with 1 tablespoon of water. Add a little at a time as the mixture boils until the desired consistency is reached.
