Cheese Taco Dip – Nude in the Kitchen

Inspired by the cheese dip I shared a few weeks ago. This cheese taco dip is creamy and full of spicy Southwest flavor, reminiscent of the old-fashioned layered taco dip we all know and enjoy.

Cheese Dip

I guess not everyone has tried the cream cheese dip on the internet these days, so I’ll remind you that when the cheese mix is smooth, it becomes the perfect protein-filled base for a variety of recipes. In this recipe, it is mixed with cream cheese and taco seasoning to create the basis of this fresh taco dip.

Although this is a classic change, it is still full of protein and is indeed satisfied. My kids devoured it in a few minutes and then continued to ask if we could use meat to make it more heart-wrenching next time. I think it would be great to mix a handful of tablespoon of beef mixture on the cream cheese layer.

Cheese Recipe

I know, I know, cheese has the whole moment now. To the point where our local grocery stores are often out of stock – no joke. While I usually eat some fresh fruit cheese in a very basic breakfast bowl, I still appreciate all the other ways this humble cheese can be enjoyed.

We’ve been making these cheese eggs for nearly 15 years and my kids still call them “electric eggs”. (Authentic, since they didn’t show off their strength when they were talking about toddlers, they still made me grin.)

You know how much we like our ice cream recipes, so I gave cheese ice cream. The creamy, sweet and slightly rich cheese ice cream tastes very much like cheesecake ice cream, and you’ll make double. Three times the protein, this is the new staple in our refrigerator.

Chocolate cheese ice cream sounds weird, but you need to believe me here. It is pleasantly creamy, rich, rich and chocolatey, and has an active packaging of protein.

The cheese pancakes are fluffy and rich in protein, which means I will be full for a longer time and won’t experience too many sugar accidents in the future.

Cheese Taco Dip

If I’m honest here, the part of my favorite taco dip is that it’s basically piled up high with salads on it. As you know, I can have a taco salad with great pleasure almost every day. So this makes me crave salads and turn them into a shareable family snack.

There are a few different things from crunchy lettuce and pepper to juicy tomatoes and salty olives. Organize the dish with sharp cheddar, fresh cilantro and green onions, which add up to a lot of flavors and textures.

We like to add a little bit of heat, but it is certainly optional here. Whether you’re just looking for a delicious snack or planning a party appetizer, cheese tacos bring great fun.

  • Place the cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Stir in an electric mixer until creamy and smooth. Add the taco seasoning and beat again until combined.

  • Place the cheese in a food processor or place the immersion mixer directly in a cheese container. Mix at high speed for about 30-90 seconds until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Pause and scrape the sides of the container as needed.

  • Add the cheese to the bowl with the cream cheese mixture and stir in a blender until well combined. Spread the mixture in a serving dish or 10-inch baking dish.

  • Top with chopped lettuce, tomatoes, pepper, olives, scallions and coriander. If needed, drizzle with cholula.
