Easy Cherry Tomato Salad Recipe

My favorite cherry tomato salad is made with juicy cherry tomatoessimple olive oil dressing and salted sheep cheese! It’s very simple, absolutely delicious, and will certainly be very popular!
Whenever I have cherry tomatoes in the house, I save some simple cherry tomato salad. This is absolutely perfect. I love it so much that I can eat it honestly every day!
The trick is to quickly marinate the tomatoes in salt before adding other salad ingredients. I used the same trick for this tomato cheese salad and our favorite caprese salad!
Key Ingredients
- Cherry Tomatoes: We designed it as a cherry tomato salad, but you can use a variety of tomatoes. Make sure they are ripe, sweet and juicy.
- vinegar: Use red wine vinegar, white wine vinegar, champagne vinegar or balsamic vinegar. They are all delicious!
- Oregano: This cherry tomato salad was inspired by our Greek salad recipe, so I used a lot of dried oregano. I like it!
- olive oil: Use your favorite kind. It will combine with tomato sauce to make a delicious dressing.
- Salt and pepper: The trick to the best tomato salad is to add salt in advance. You’ll see me saying the same thing on all the tomato salad recipes we share (it’s a Caprese salad). Salt absorbs the tomato juice and enhances its flavor. These juices are then mixed with our olive oil to form a simple dressing.
- Feta cheese: I like to add a lot of sheep cheese to this salad. When you push the forks into them, they crash and mix in the salad. Mozzarella or Mexican cheese is also great.

How to Make My Favorite Cherry Tomato Salad
The key to this cherry tomato salad is to give salt and tomato together before adding anything else. Their own flavor is great, but after I let the tomatoes add a little salt, they are incredible. Their sweetness and flavor are intensified. (I also use this tip for the best bruschetta!)
When you prepare a salad, add a little sour. Recently, I’ve been fascinated by champagne vinegar, but red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar with cherry tomatoes are great.
As a nod to the Greek salad, I added a piece of sheep cheese. Then I sprinkled some oregano and pepper on the top and drizzled with high quality olive oil. Simple, fresh and delicious. Do this as soon as possible. I know you will like it!
