This delicious homemade pizza sauce is made with fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic and oregano, and it has no added sugar at all. You can make your own homemade pizza with this light and garlic sauce or try it with pasta (very delicious).
Make 2 cups
You will need
4 cups (760g) chopped fresh tomatoes, 5 to 6 medium
4 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves and garlic, chopped or finely ground
3/4 cup (100g) chopped onion
Pinch red pepper or gochugaru (Korean pepper)
1 teaspoon dried oregano
4 twisted black peppers
1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt, more flavor

1Mix olive oil, garlic, onion and pepper in a medium pot over low heat. Cover the pot and cook for 5 minutes.
2Add tomatoes, oregano and black pepper. Cook for 30 minutes.
3Find out, continue to cook at low heat for 30 minutes and stir every once in a while.
4Season with salt – start with 1/4 tsp and add from there. Pull the sauce using an immersion blender or rack mixer.

- Canned tomatoes: We love the fresh tomatoes in this sauce and even find the blandering winter tomatoes in the store very effective for this pizza sauce. That is, you can use canned tomatoes. We recommend using completely peeled tomatoes.
